Below is a comparison of the Monster Clubhouse -vs- King Kong Clubhouse Playsets. In the photos below, you will find details that make it easier to see the differences between these playset Series. You will also find additional awesome information below to help you select your favorite playset for your family.

Step #1: Compare Height & Deck Size

Monster Clubhouse

Monster Clubhouse has a 6′ deck height and a 5.2 x 7.8′ sized deck space for more play space totaling 40 SF. The Monster has a great deck heigh and deck/play area space.

King Kong Clubhouse

King Kong Clubhouse has TWO deck heights! The  lower-deck is 5.6′ tall and the upper-deck is 7.2′ tall. These two multilevel decks are 5.2′ x 10.4′ totaling 54 SF. The King Kong gives you the MOST play space of any Rainbow Play System. It also makes your rock wall and swing beam much taller.

Step #2: Compare Rockwall

Monster Clubhouse has a 4 x 6″ Rockwall with (24) Rocks and is 6′ tall. Your support beams that hold the rock wall together are 33% thicker than the sizes below. This adds to the beefiness in construction of the Monster Clubhouse Series and offers more play for your children to play.

King Kong Clubhouse has a 4 x 6″ Rockwall with (24) Rocks and is either 7.2′ tall or 5.6′ tall. This means you can get the largest rockwall possible AND you can even get two rock walls! Kids love tall rockwalls!

Step #3: Compare Slide Length

Monster Clubhouse comes with an 11′ Slide.

King Kong Clubhouse offers an 10.5′ Slide off the shorter fort, or a 14′ slide that comes from the taller fort. One thing the King Kong can do that no other forts can do is that you can mount a 270° or 360° Spiral Tube Slide directly onto the fort!

Step #4: Compare Swingbeam, Headbeam & A-Frame Legs

Monster Clubhouse has a 9.25′ tall Swingbeam with 4×6” A-Frame Legs and 4×10” Swing Hangers. The a-frame legs are 33% thicker, and the swing beam itself is almost twice as thick when compared to Monster and below.

King Kong Clubhouse has a 10.25′ tall Swingbeam with 4×6” A-Frame Legs and 4×10” Swing Hangers. The higher the swing beam is, the higher your children can swing. Wheee!

Step #5: Compare Wood Roofs

Monster Clubhouse offers a 5.2 x 7.8′ Double Gable Wood Roof with (4) Gable Fans. This is by far the most aesthetically pleasing wooden roof that is offered. This is not offer extra support, it is purely a visual bonus.

King Kong Clubhouse has (2) beautiful wooden roofs over each fort. Bigger and better and so pretty!

Step #6: Compare Add-on Ability

Monster Clubhouse has up to (10)’ openings to add-on fun options either now or in the future.

King Kong Clubhouse has up to (12)’ openings to add-on fun options either now or in the future. This allows you to make tons of different combinations of accessories at the time of purchase, or it allows you add on as time goes by so your playground can “grow up” with your children!
