Below is a comparison of the Rainbow Castle Series -vs- Monster Castle Series Playsets. In the photos below, you will find details that make it easier to see the differences between these Playset Series. You will also find additional awesome information below to help you select your favorite playset for your family.
Step #1: Compare Deck Heights & Swingbeam Height
The Monster Castle Series has a 6’ Deck Height which means you have a longer slide + taller Swingbeam + taller rockwall + taller combo ladder. The fort (from the deck up) is the exact same.
Step #2: Compare Rock Walls
Monster Castle Series rockwall is 35% bigger and has thicker wood construction. Note the 4×6’s on the sides of the rockwall (instead of 4×4’s). This makes the playset heavier and more substantial.
Step #3: Compare Combo Ladders
Monster Castle Series has 35% bigger and has thicker wood construction. Note the 4×6’s on the sides of the Combo Ladder (instead of 4×4’s). This makes the playset heavier and more substantial.
Step #4: Compare Swing Beams
Rainbow Castle Series Swingbeam is a cedar 4×6”. The A-Frame Legs are 4×4’s and so is the cross brace.
Monster Castle Series swing beam is taller, which allows for higher swinging. *Notice 4×6 Swing Beam has a 4×4 Header on top making your Swing Beam a 4×10”. Your Swing Hangers are now 4×10” instead of 4×6”. The A-Frame Legs are 4×6’s as is the cross brace.
